Many people know the importance of proper nutrition and herbal medicine for good health but there are other factors that are major players when it comes to health, some of these include, clean indoor air, pure water and proper illumination(lighting) at various points throughout the day and night and a positive disposition.
Jill helps clients define and improve their quality of life. She assists clients on their healing journey, helping them to reconnect and live in harmony with mother earth, through conscious living choices.
What is Holistic Living?
The goal of holistic living is to gain knowledge about the simple everyday things we can do to improve our quality of life. Our modern life is overburdened socially, physically, spiritually and emotionally. Many people get lost trying to find the one “cause” of various illnesses they or others are experiencing. Because people are looking for one cause they begin to look for a “cure-all”, and so people get sucked into fad diets, miracle supplements, motivational seminars, and more, but ultimately these approaches are limited and unfulfilling because they are treating the symptoms of the modern lifestyle rather than addressing the root cause. We do not have to give up modern conveniences, but we must learn how to properly apply them in our life.
Sometimes the biggest inhibitor to change is feeling like you are walking alone when in reality there are many people wanting to make positive changes for their health.
One key ingredient in our development and improving the quality of life is self-love. Self-love must come into the equation when striving to make positive changes in one’s life. Love, understanding and compassion for others must be dispensed if you hope to assist others on their healing journey.
