Mental and Emotional Health

On the Subject of Health:

First, there is that which brings more immediate relief.

Such as basic first-aid, emergency surgery after an accident. Or emotional first-aid, such as being able to calm your energy after an emotional fight and come back to equilibrium, so you can actually problem solve.

The second being that of long-term health. – which is where most of the “magic” happens. This is what I will focus on for the duration.

We, as individuals, are responsible for our own health. The issues that have arisen over the years in regards to the health of the population is because many individuals gave up taking responsibility and caring about their own selves, and turned their decisions about health over to “experts” because it is more convenient, it also gives people someone else to blame when things go awry.

While doctors are incredibly helpful in emergency situations such as a heart attack, stroke or car accidents, the truth of the matter is, they receive little to no education in nutrition and environmental health and no training on spiritual matters, or on how to truly heal from deep trauma.

We as individuals are only responsible for ourselves and we can not wait for the system to change because if we do, it will only prolong true healing. We cannot blame anyone else, whether it be a physical illness, mental/emotional illness or spiritual imbalance.

Yes there are traumas that happen in life that can encompass any of those categories, I previously mentioned. But once the initial incident is over it is up to us, especially as adults, to repair, recover and heal, on all levels. This is not easy, but it is necessary for long-term health.

The state of our health isn’t about one decision. Our health is the cumulative effect of decisions we make every moment over a period of hours, days, weeks, months and years.

The Basics:

Anything you put a lot of thought(energy) into will become stronger.

Don’t focus on a single ailment. Look at the overall health picture.

Put the focus on health, becoming a better you, a healthier you, a more capable person, someone who’s resilience has/will increase, someone who is connected to Spirit.

Don’t look at what you are “sacrificing.” – This is how most people perceive making healthier choices, and this is why many are unsuccessful. They say, “I can’t eat this.” or “I need to LOSE weight.” or “I need to stop doing that.” – They are entering into a mindset of deprivation, starvation, and lack.

You’ll be much more successful if you focus on what you’re gaining. Such as better mobility, more energy, a clearer mind, better memory and more harmonious Spirit.

If you suddenly start reacting to your environment. The first question to ask is, “What recently changed?” You may have inadvertently added something new to the mix that isn’t compatible with your health.

Find things you enjoy doing, network with others who share common goals, people who inspire you, but don’t be dependent on them….

Though there are those, like us, who can help you through providing services. Your level of growth is directly proportional to the amount of effort you, as an individual put in.
